Jersey police probe six more sites

Police excavating a Jersey youth hostel where a child's remains were found said they were investigating six more sites.
Officers, acting on intelligence that arose from a child abuse investigation, are searching the grounds of Haut de la Garenne, a former children's home in St Martin.
A spokeswomen for the force confirmed that sniffer dogs and forensic teams had identified six more sites for investigation after the remains of a child was found on Saturday morning.
Jersey's deputy chief police officer Lenny Harper said the force was treating it as a major crime and could not rule out the possibility of more bodies.
Mr Harper said they were concentrating on one area identified by a specially-trained dog, previously used in the search for Madeleine McCann, where the remains were found but said a further six were also to be looked at.
"We received intelligence relating to people here and the dog gave us positive indications of areas we might be interested in," he said.
"We are concentrating on one area and that is where we found the remains.
"We do not know if the body is male or female or how they met their end but we have to treat this as a possible major crime.
"The intelligence was not specific, it is unclear whether there could be one or more bodies."
The child's body parts were found inside the house on the east coast of the Channel Island by a team of specialist officers but an exact location has not been given.

Aren't these dogs used to search for the scent of dead bodies, and the same dogs were unable to locate one in PDL.
If true, couldn't this provide some evidence that Madeleine is still alive?

A private detective linked to the agency hunting for Madeleine McCann has been arrested on suspicion of helping a gang smuggle £25million worth of cocaine.
Retired police officer Antonio Jimenez, 53, was remanded in custody on Thursday by a judge investigating the loss of half a ton of cocaine from a container docked in Barcelona in 2005.
Jimenez was a business partner of Maria Fernandez Lado, 57, founder of Metodo 3, the agency charging £50,000 a month to search for Madeleine.
Spanish police had the container under surveillance following a tip-off.
But Jimenez, then a chief inspector with the Drugs and Organised Crime Unit of the National Police, is suspected of providing vital information to the gang.
He retired from the police shortly afterwards.
The cocaine was smuggled into Spain in 974 packets on the ship Hispanota, which was transporting frozen prawns from Venezuela. It docked in Barcelona in November 2004 and the drugs were taken on January 24, 2005.
Five officers from the Civil Guard have also been arrested and remanded in custody.

I don't know what dreams tells for us (I'm not expert), but I have seen 3 short dreams about Madeleine, they were like pictures and I would like to tell them also.
First dream was in November. In dream there was middle-aged woman and man standing in the front of apartment house (6 stairs and they were standing in front of A-door) Woman shouted very loud voice CASA LILIANA!
Second dream was in November too and in dream there was this ship R/V Naomi Corlett (It is mentioned in Shrimpton document) I saw a whole puzzle which represented this ship at blue sea. The ship was blue-orange-white (lower part was orange, upper part was blue and there was little white somewhere)
Third dream was in beginning of December and it was nightmare (usually I don't see nightmares). In dream I heard a voice (very loud) said to me, that they are going to crucify or sacrifice Madeleine on the TEMPLE MOUNT in JERUSALEM (you know where is al-Aqsa) It was terrible and I woke up.
I don't know if this true or not or what this dream really means but I wanted to tell.
God bless Madeleine, this sweet innocent little girl. I hope they'll find her very soon.

As you can read, Madeleine's coloboma is very unique. If someone has seen Madeleine's eye (In Montpellier Melissa and police saw it) in girl, who looks like Madeleine and has same age as Madeleine, it means he has seen Madeleine.

"They're pretty uncommon," says Iain Anderson, chairman of the Eyecare Trust. "In my patient base of 5,000 just one person has one. It is a significant distinguishing feature in identifying someone."
Melissa Fiering is absolutely sure, she saw Madeleine: "I looked in her eye because I'd seen on TV that Madeleine's got a defect in her right iris and I saw this girl had it," she told the Daily Mirror. "I could hardly believe my eyes, but I knew for sure it was her."

How common is Madeleine's eye defect?
A girl resembling Madeleine McCann has been spotted in France by a woman who says she had the same eye blemish as the missing girl's. Police have dismissed the sighting, but how common is the defect?
Referred to as the "mark of Madeleine" the blemish on the four-year-old's right eye has played a key part in the campaign to highlight her disappearance, emphasised in posters and videos.
It's was at the centre of the latest possible sighting of her. Dutch student Melissa Fiering says she saw a girl who looked like Madeleine McCann at a service station in the South of France.
She believed it was the youngster, who went missing from the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz last May, because she had a dark smudge on her right iris. However, police examining CCTV evidence have determined it was not the missing girl.
It's not the first reported sighting of Madeleine, but a spokesman for the McCann family said it was "more worthy than most" because of the eye defect.
The blemish is called a coloboma of the iris. Its precise incidence is not recorded in the UK, but figures suggest its occurance is about 0.007% per head of population. A 1989 study in China found two cases in a survey of 26,512 children under 12 years of age. That would mean a prevalence of 7.5 per 100,000.
In the UK, cases of coloboma are lumped in with two other congenital eye defects - microphthalmia and anophthalmia - says the Micro and Anophthalmic Children's Society (Macs).
"There are about three to seven babies every 100,000 live births, born with any one of these defects," says a spokeswoman for the society, although "coloboma is more common than the other two conditions."
A coloboma occurs when the eye fails to develop fully while the baby is in the womb. It leaves part of the structure missing, creating a gap.
Keyhole
Colobomas can occur in several parts of the eye - the word itself means an absence or defect of tissue. When a coloboma is in the iris - like Madeleine's - it can give the appearance of a keyhole. In very rare cases a person can get one in each eye.

Having a coloboma can cause sight problems but it depends on which part of the eye is affected and to what extent, according to Dr Trisha Macnair.
"If the iris is affected, the pupil may be oval or keyhole-shaped rather than round, and central vision may be affected," she says.
While French police have ruled out the latest "sighting" of Madeleine, given the rareness of the eye defect it's perhaps not surprising Ms Fiering believed she had seen the missing girl.
"I looked in her eye because I'd seen on TV that Madeleine's got a defect in her right iris and I saw this girl had it," she told the Daily Mirror. "I could hardly believe my eyes, but I knew for sure it was her."

I have been interested in your site for quite some time and I think it is amazing. I am always glad to see how many people are following this case like me. It consumes me, I think of Madeleine everyday, every sighting is encouraging to me.
Though I do not have dreams like you or anything of the such, I cannot shake a nagging feeling that one or more of the Tapas 7, I say 7 because I do not think her parents are involved, had something to do with this or are aware of who did. What are your thoughts on this???
I also wanted to speak a bit to the notion that her abductors wouldn't take her in public. I think they would! There are many location where this story is completely off the radar screen. Many areas that do not use the internet and its resources to search the news as you and I. If she is part of a large network, the people holding her may not be aware of how many of us are still clingy to the hope that she is alive and will be found or they may not even be aware of who she is. I know this may sound naive or wishful, but if any of the sightings are real, based on the descriptions of the individuals in each, she may be moved about to keep her location hidden. Is it possible some of these people do not know who she is???
Anyhow, please continue the good work. I look in daily to see what news and progress there is.

Hi, I do not think they are involved as far as the abduction...you also make a good point...we tend to assume that just because we know about a missing person, everyone else does too. Many missing persons that have been found report that they had no idea anyone was even looking for them, despite wide spread media coverage...but that said, I think the person(s) involved in taking Madeleine is well aware of the worldwide concern of getting her back.

Dear Brian,
I was unable to get onto your site last night for some reason but I have come across something very intriguing during my research. The only problem is that my Portuguese is limited and this particular language does not translate well with the online translator. So what I would like is for one of your Portuguese speaking readers to do an accurate translation of this letter. Now the way I came about finding this was very strange indeed. It followed a deep prayer session where I asked God for guidance and I was directed to look for the word secret dungeon. I then keyed in the portuguese and came up with this site on my search engine. I believe that it is a Portuguese nationalist online news site. The heading at the top of the page reads "Alive and Well" - not sure why but further down (and its important to note that this page is for the Maio archive) under the heading " Quem Fala Assim Nao Gagueja" is a strange letter written from someone close to the Madeleine case, probably a policeman but can't be certain, except that he takes the British press attack on the PJ very personally. He hates the English and is trying to engender Portuguese nationalist support for the Police in a very anti English way. You will note that he does not mention Madeleine or Robert Murat by name because he does not want this letter to be discovered by internet researchers. What is very interesting is that he sent this letter by hand and it was then typed up by the main blogger on this site who claims to have a good idea about who wrote the letter and assures his readers that he has not changed a single comma of the original hand written letter. The writer begins by saying that he has been gagged from speaking about this case and then launches into a vitriolic attack on the architect of Robert Murats house who has lived in Portugal for 30 years but does not apparently speak any Portuguese. The architect rang the police (perhaps) and was put out that no one spoke English and then rang again. Only the architect would be able to verify if this did in fact happen and would then be able to ascertain the writer of this letter as it is clearly written with inside knowledge. One of the things I would like to point out, is that if this is indeed a policeman who has been gagged then he is showing classic psychopathic tendencies in that he is determined to beat the system and write his thoughts regardless of the law! I hope this goes some way towards showing how the Portuguese Media have been brainwashed against the McCann's and why so many are willing to believe the lies about them. We must never forget how the Germans were indoctrinated against the Jews - remember evil has a tendency to repeat himself.

This is the first image of the man a student claims she saw with Madeleine McCann in a cafe. Melissa Fiering, 18, described the dark-skinned male to sketch artist Emre Altin, 28, exclusively for the Mirror. Speaking at her home in Nijmegen, Holland, yesterday, the travel and tourism student said of the police-style e-fit: "This is definitely an accurate likeness of the man I saw. I'd recognise him straight away if the police found him."
Melissa said the person she saw in Montpellier, southern France, was about 6ft, in his late 30s, possibly Algerian, with slightly receding hair and a distinctive sharp jaw line. He wore a black leather jacket and "looked quite rough".
Reacting angrily to reports from France that the latest sighting of Madeleine should not be taken seriously, Melissa added: "I am absolutely positive this was her. I would not make these kind of statements to draw attention to myself.
"I have not been able to think about anything else since. I was upset by this story so I would not do this to create confusion. I feel very sorry for Madeleine's parents."
According to Melissa, the girl she and a friend saw last Friday night had the same flaw as Madeleine in the iris of her right eye and looked up when she called out the missing child's name.
The man took the girl out of the premises. The authorities have not contacted Melissa since she viewed CCTV footage filmed in the restaurant.

I thought I would post this video footage. The first two were taken the day after Madeleine went missing (4th May 2007) at approximately 8.30 am. It looks as though a number of the T9 are being taken in for questioning. Note that someone who looks like 'playground man' is there and maybe even Murat or is it David Payne (or neither)? The video footage is in Portuguese, so I am at a loss as to knowing what is being said. If there is anything of interest, maybe some of our Portuguese friends may pick up on it. Maybe we will all, non-Portuguese speakers, detect something else of importance.

I reckon your site may be the way forward to finding missing children the World over, through a combination of people reporting missing children to you, remote viewing, psychic/astrologer input plus millions of 'child-loving oriented sleuths' around the World. More than anything your site would help poor people who don't have any means of finding their child, that is as long as they could access the Internet. For some that would be impossible, I know that, but it's a start and there is usually someone they can turn to such as an Aid worker. Why not try and contact Aid workers around the World and let them know what we are doing? I know Brian that this would be a mammoth task and that you must be worn out, but surely there are remote viewers like yourself who would come forward and help you.
Maybe together we can find many of these poor children, throw some light on corruption, expose paedophiles and highlight the disgusting third most lucrative business in the World that is 'child pornography and trafficking'. Let's all unite to making a difference. Better still putting an end to all of this. I, for one, can't stomach much more of it.
