His body was found in White Oak Lake about 100-200 yards from where Arceneaux was last seen. Members of the search and rescue team found his body at about 11:45 a.m. Authorities say that cadaver dogs led to them to this area several times but they could not find his body.
Authorities tell Today's THV that they do not suspect foul play, but have not ruled anything out. Sheriff David Norwood says his body has been sent to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
Arceneaux has been missing since Feb. 10. His mother said he was playing in their backyard and she went to check on him after about 5 minutes but he wasn't there. She also has said that he was afraid of the water, knew about water safety, and stayed away from the nearby lake. The family lives near Chidester.
