Immediately after a baby is born, put the baby between the mother's breasts...do not heat the baby by a machine...let the mothers own body temperature slowly do this, as rapid heating of a newborn can cause a type of shock in babies that we currently do not know about.  Also says that heating a baby with a machine after birth could cause medical problems later in life.\

Hi, thanks for the concern, I'm faced with this situation all the time, and each time I have decided that the possible benefits outweigh any negative comments I receive...or legal threats.   And as always, a doctor should be consulted when attempting to do anything on this site.
