Just a few quick thoughts.
The "spinning" star is recognizable as the Star of David, indicative of
Israel.
The "spinning" arrows could suggest movement into and out of Lebanon.
The "16 days" reference may be to the duration of the presently on-going
Israeli attack.
The Hand with an eye in it may refer to the symbol of "The Hand of
Fatima", indicating opposition by the Islamic world.
The three prominent fingers extending toward the star may represent the
three main sources or forces of opposition, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.
The "little finger" and "thumb" may represent Lebanon and one other
country or force which will also be involved ultimately, the thumb
suggesting a very influential Islamic country such as Saudi Arabia.
More to follow as the thoughts strike.

This looks like the Star of David.. 6 points...spinning into action? (Israel now at war with Lebanon?) Perhaps the war will be over in 16 days?
Above, looks like a hand with an eye... perhaps God watching over Israel with a heavy hand?

1. Why did Solomon build a Temple ?
Solomon built the Temple because it was an order from the LORD:
" Behold, a son shall be born to you, David, who shall be a man of rest; His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son, and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever." (Chron 22:9-10 )

2. What were the functions of the Temple ?
The Temple
had many functions:
- Preserve the Jewish religion. The temple was the religious center of Israel
: it housed the Arc of Covenant
containing the tablets of the Ten Commandments
. The Temple being recognized as the most important place in Israel, the LORD's religion was deeply rooted in the Jewish society
. It helped building a national identity and a cultural cohesion.- Remit the sins of Israel : Yahweh chose the tribe of Levi to serve Him in the Temple and Aaron for the priesthood; priests were appointed to offer sacrifices to God in return of God benefits, blessings, and remission of the sins of Israel.
Such remission was very important, since thoughts and actions modify the psychological and spiritual balance of every person; some of them, sins, have a negative impact, altering mental and spiritual structure.
Spiritual balance has to be restored, that's why priests used to commit sacrifices :
Priests thought sacrifices taking places in the Temple were especially efficient for the remission of the sins of Israel, due to the intense flow of Shekinah, spiritual energy in the Temple.
When the Jewish people forgot the temple, they could no longer obtain the remission of their sins, their was a disequilibria in their spiritual balance and Israel was endangered.

3. Where was Solomon's Temple located ?
Thanks to Tuvia Sagiv's work, we know with good confidence that Solomons temple
was located South of the Dome of the Rock, and even more important, that the Holy of Holies was probably located in the area of the El Kas Fountain. This fountain lies approximately midway between the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque:

4. When was Solomon's Temple built ?
The First Temple was constructed during King Solomon's reign, which lasted 40 years (one biblical Generation), from 967 BC to 927 BC.

5. Who built Solomon's Temple ?
When Solomon ascended the throne, and began to prepare for the building of the Temple, he wrote to the old friend of his father, Hiram of Tyre, who sent workmen and materials to Jerusalem. Other people than the Jewish ones were involved in the Temple's building.

6. How Solomon's Temple building was made possible?
Due to its location, Israel was a major trade route to Egypt, Arabia and Mesopotamia. Thanks to the trading of Gold, Oil, Silver, Wheat, Wood, ... Israel was prosperous. And Solomon decided to employ these resources to build the Temple.

7. Why should Israel rebuild the third Temple ?
Building the Temple is still an order from the LORD, since "he shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son, and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel FOREVER." (Chron 22:9-10 )
According to the Torah, Israel and the Temple should stand forever. Therefore, Israel and the Temple should be rebuilt after each destruction.

8. What will be the functions of the third Temple ?
The third Temple will have the same functions as Solomon's Temple, because the human being remains fundamentally the same:
- Preserve the Jewish religion. The temple will be the religious center of Israel; it will house the Arc of Covenant containing the tablets of the Ten Commandments. If it appears impossible to get back the Arc of Covenant (but I think it is possible), a new one will be built. The Temple Rebuilding will promote the Jewish identity and culture worldwide.
More, it will be less painful for the Jewish people to concede territories to the Palestinians if at the same time Temple is rebuilt.
Without such a rebuilding, territorial concessions will deeply divide the Jewish people.
- Remit the sins of Israel : The spiritual balance of Israel has to be restored, so as to bring peace, that's why it is necessary to rebuild the temple.
- RECEIVE the Shekinah, the manifested presence of God:
Receiving this Shekinah will be of great importance for Israel and the World:
- Israel was born thanks to this Shekinah: Because of the Shekinah Isaac received here, God changed the name of his son Jacob to Israel.
- Israel will be preserved thanks to this Shekinah: when the law of God is honored in the Temple, Israel as a whole receives a great flow of Shekinah, and the Land is in peace.
The last two points (efficiency of the sacrifices taking place in the Temple, reception of the presence of God) depend on the ability to receive the maximum flow of Shekinah in the Holy of Holies of the Temple, and therefore to choose a suitable location. The following paragraph explains how to locate the Temple to receive enough Shekinah.

9. Where should be the third Temple located ?
The best location is of course the same as the first Temple of Solomon. It is south of the Dome of the Rock, which makes it possible to rebuild the Temple without destroying the Dome of the Rock or the El Aksa Mosque.
Yet, the international situation is so tense that it is very perilous to rebuild the Temple
between the Dome and the El Aksa Mosque.
Here is my solution.
What really matters is Shekinah and only Shekinah: once they receive Shekinah, Priests can commit very efficient rituals to remit the sins of Israel. More, thanks to this Shekinah, Israel receives more blessings from God and is partly preserved from evil by the presence of God.
The problem is that the flow of Shekinah is maximum around the El Kas Fountain and we can't build here.
The solution is to artificially move the Shekinah from one location to another. Here is how to proceed:
Have you ever heard about the optical properties of conics, especially ellipses ?
In other words:
Thanks to the elliptical organization of the reflectors, all the Shekinah received by the El Kas Fountain will converge to the Holy of Holies of the new Temple. As regards the Shekinah, everything will be as if the new Temple was built exactly at the same location as Solomon's Temple.Here is another possible location in the area of the
Mount Olives

The main advantage of these locations is that there is enough space to rebuild the Temple
, and they are far enough from any Muslim holy place:
Last point, what the network of Shekinah reflectors must look like ?
This network must be made of two main parts:
a) exoteric part:
Sacred flames, lasers or electromagnetic resonant devices should be efficient:
To make the reflection more efficient, lasers should draw angels in the sky instead of points. Drawing the 72 kabbalistic angels of the Shemhamephoresh as 72 reflectors would be perfect.
It is possible as well to modify the frequency of lasers to make their rays invisible, but still efficient.
b) esoteric part:
It is not so easy to curve and move the flow of Shekinah from the Templemount area to an other location.
It is necessary to provide the right ritual in the right place at the right time by the right people.
It is easy to locate the right place, It is not so difficult to choose the right time. It is delicate to provide the right ritual, and even more delicate to gather the right people having a sufficient feeling of Shekinah . 10. When should the third Temple be built ?
The sooner the better.
Yet, I think the main conditions will be fulfilled in 2007-2008:
- Incredible pressure is put on Israel's authorities to conclude peace with the Palestinian people : it may be good for the Palestinian people, but it deeply divides the Jewish society. Israel is in a defensive position. Rebuilding the Temple peacefully with the method exposed here would turn this defensive position into a positively active position. Territorial concessions would be less painful, and Israel can make the World dream with Temple Rebuilding.
- Incredible pressure is put on the Dollar and the US economy, because of deficits, job losses due to outsoursing, derivatives and real estate speculation, ... As a result, any unforeseen event could result in an uncontrolled international situation (Neocons being already very defiant to the U.N. and other institutions). That's why any group willing to rebuild the Temple (for religious - as I am - or other reasons, ...), should tighten its agenda. - Moreover, Bush, as a new born Christian, is likely support the

, both for biblical reasons and to make the American people dream, at the moment they are facing such economic difficulties and wars in Middle East. Bear in mind the social basis of the republican party is composed of Christian groups who support such a religious project.

11. Who should build the third Temple ?
One of the various dangers that could compromise the Temple rebuilding is its international perception as a nationalist project.
It is much more efficient to follow the example of King Solomon and to involve foreign people:
- in the U.S., many Christians are in favor of the Temple Rebuilding. The TV showing such American people taking part in the Temple Rebuilding will make this project popular among the American people.
- in Europe, many Polish, Spanish, Italian ... people are authentic believers and would be interested in taking part in this spiritual project. The more European nationalities would be represented and showed, the more European people will change their mind in favor of Israel and the Temple rebuilding.
- it is even possible to find some Muslims supporting the temple rebuilding: the Koran claim the Jewish people should obey the Torah: and the Torah precisely orders the Jewish people to rebuild the Temple: it is therefore an Islamic prescription for the Jewish people to rebuild the Temple and the true Muslims should support it.
The most important point is to present the Temple Rebuilding as a major step in the globalization of Spirituality rather than a nationalist project.

12. How is the Temple Rebuilding possible ?
Rebuilding the Temple costs between 1 and 120 billion dollars, depending on the amount of gold and materials really used, and the various difficulties to cope with.
For example, 100,000 talents (3,000 tons) of gold are said to have been brought to the construction of Solomon's Temple. 3000 tons of gold cost at least 40 billion dollars !
My proposal is to build the main structures of the Temple, decorated with only 50 tons of gold. Extra luxury decorations will be added later, 10 or 20 years after the beginning of Temple Rebuilding.
The only thing required for this purpose is the the first billion dollar. Financial instruments will easily finance the Temple Rebuilding above the first billion, even if the global cost lies between $5 billions and $10 billions : the Temple Rebuilding would therefore be costless for Israel's taxpayers, and would even create employment and economic growth in Israel, which dramatically needs it. And what about polls ? 53% of Israelis want a third Temple.
At this point, a further preparation should be conducted (detailed Temple design and location, planning, risk assessment, core think tank, special esoteric staff, ...).
