This one hits close to home for me. My hometown, Paradise, CA was just upturned by a massive fire last week that destroyed about 75 homes and thousands of acres of land. The fire department does suspect that the ignition point was possibly a power line that was too close to a tree. Paradise is a small, rural community located within the Sierra Nevada foothills in Northern California, atop a hill. I am not saying for sure that this is what your dream is regarding, but the timing and dream description is right. Your dream would have been in the present tense, as the fire initially started on 6/11, but only jumped the canyon and main road the following afternoon, Thursday 6/12. Thousands were evacuated, many homes and lives were threatened, and many more, myself included, could not get home and spent the night in shelters or at the homes of friends or family.
