Maybe we have had similar experiences in some way. Years ago, I had insomnia and it was not only diffficult to get to sleep, but if I woke up through the night, again it was difficult to get back to sleep. Usually listened to Coasttocoastam radio show while trying to drift off. For several nights every time feelings of slumber began, Art Bell would start talking about "Shadow People", or when I fell asleep and rewoke, they were discussing shadow people. Two nights later the story begins...
I wake up after a lucid dream, but do not open my eyes. Did not want to look at the clock and get frustrated. And worried about falling asleep again-so ran the incidents of the dream through my head trying to determine if any signicant happened. All of a sudden, weight came on to my bed and it made a noise in the springs. Now I live alone. I started thinking whether I had somehow left the door unlocked. That was a no. Was I drinking a lot and am not at home. No. Then whatever was in my bed with me put their hand on my arm. It was cold to the touch. It was terrifying. I was lying in the fetal position and it was if my kneecaps were welded to gether. I was frozen. Then whatever was there did the weirdest thing-it blew air into my ear. The air was cold. I struggled for a few seconds to confront my intruder and when I was able to open my eyes and turn a look with wide eyed frenzy, there was nothing there!
So is this similar to your experience? Seems so. But to this very day, I have never had a satisfactory answer to what the experience was exactly. Strange visitor, but not seeming to be evil or manevolent, at least in the beginning.
