Translation: Sadly, I think that Jill was murdered and her body was taken to a lake very close to where she disappeared.  The man that did it is drawn above...it's how he looked when he took Jill.  I believe this man is still alive today and lives with his wife and children.  His wife is drawn above how she looks today...I do not think she knows about the murder, but suspects something.

On August 13, 1987 a nine year old Norfolk, Nebraska girl disappeared and has
not been seen alive since. Jillian “Jill” Cutshall was last seen near her babysitter’s home
in central Norfolk. An extensive search for her in the Norfolk area found nothing until in
November of 1987. It was then that hunters found children’s clothing in the Wood Duck
wildlife area southwest of Stanton, Nebraska. The clothing was positively identified as
being the clothing Jill was wearing at the time of her disappearance. An exhaustive
search of the wildlife area resulted in no further findings or evidence of her
disappearance.

Debra says: Since that time, Jill has remained on the minds of all area law enforcement that worked to find and bring her home. Jill has since been declared dead by the State of Nebraska and a Norfolk man is serving a life sentence for the Kidnapping of Jill from Norfolk. A second man has been interviewed numerous times and has never been charged with her disappearance. It is the hope that Jill can be located and brought home for the sake of her family and those that have never forgotten Jill. Jill’s disappearance remains an open case with both Norfolk and Stanton County law enforcement always looking for information or a location of Jill.
ID Info - NCIC #M-260214807. Jillian is a white female, 4'6" tall, weighs 65 pounds, has straight blond hair and blue eyes. She has a two inch vertical scar on the crown of her head and a horizontal scar on her right top lip. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans and white Nike Tennis shoes.
Circumstances - Jill was last seen on the porch of the home where she was babysitting. This was about 4 blocks from her home. Jill has not been seen since that time.

MADISON, Neb. (AP) (2/7/06)-- A Madison County District Court judge has denied a request for DNA testing by the man convicted in the disappearance of a Norfolk girl in 1987. David Phelps is serving a life sentence for the kidnapping of Jill Cutshall. Cutshall was never found, though a hunter near Stanton found her clothes. She later was legally declared dead. Phelps asked for testing to be done on evidence on stamps on postcards sent in October 1987, on Jill's clothing and fingerprints on branches, two pennies and six keys.
He said none of evidence found in the wooded area were subjected to DNA tests and still may contain biological evidence. Scientific proof that his DNA was not on the items would contradict the state's theory that he kidnapped her, Phelps said. Judge Patrick Rogers wrote in his ruling last week that DNA testing would not produce relevant evidence to Phelps' claim. Phelps filed his motion in accordance with a 2001 state law that allows defendants to seek additional DNA tests if it could produce evidence that a person was wrongfully convicted of a crime. In 1991 a jury found Phelps guilty of kidnapping Cutshall, who was last seen on Aug. 13, 1987, sitting on her baby-sitter's front porch.

    I happened on your site while researching information I received in a dream on 3/15/08. I would like to recount that dream for
you if I may: I saw a larger body of water which lead to a smaller one. The smaller body of water is heavily polluted with run-off  and I was unable to see into the water and it was surrounded by high dry grass . I also saw a man running across a lawn carrying a child and I was shown a missing person poster. Two names were given to me the first name is Jillian and the other name is  Johnson.
      My internet research lead me to the Jillian Cutshall case and I am confident that this information relates to her case. I believe that Jillian wants to be found and that she is in the smaller body of water.  I have had psychic dreams my entire life but am not a professional. I hope that you might look at this case again as I strongly feel Jillian wishes to be found at this time.
