Brian,

I would like to ask you to help in a missing persons case/murder. Kiplyn
Davis was 15 when she became missing. She has been missing since 1995 and
her body has never been recovered though there has been many rumors as to
where she is. I attended the same school with Kiplyn and was an acquaintance
and for years now it has haunted me. A guy I went to high school with is
being charged with her murder. I have a hard time believing that he
committed murder but if he did the truth needs to come out and she needs to
be laid to rest.
I Would like your help in uncovering where she may be and who is to blame so
her parents can live in peace. I will forward any information you may be
able to provide on to them.. Even if they don't believe in you, it might
help them by giving them a lead and uncovering the truth about what happened
to their daughter. There is a lot of pain surrounding this and I hope they
can uncover the truth with your help. After 11 years it would be about time.
Thank you for doing what you do!

Take care,

Cori

Hi, and will get this done just as soon as I can...I delete the rest of your email with the case data...I have found that the more I know on a case, the less accurate my RV's tend to be...crazy huh?  All I need is a real name and last know location...sometimes I do not even need that.

Preliminary hearing held in Kiplyn Davis case

January 7th, 2008 @ 4:05pm

Sam Penrod reporting

Testimony began today in the Kiplyn Davis murder case. Two men face murder charges involving her disappearance from Spanish Fork High School nearly 13 years ago.

This is a critical moment in this high-profile case. A judge will hear the evidence and decide if there is enough evidence for the men to stand trial. If he decides that there is, a jury will then decide if the two men are guilty of murdering Kiplyn Davis.

The first witness called by prosecutors today was Richard Davis, Kiplyn's father. Prosecutors are trying to first establish she is dead, and then that Timmy Olsen and Chris Jeppson are responsible for her death back in 1995.

Timmy Brent Olsen

Davis testified about the last time he saw his daughter. He said she rushed out the door on May 2, 1995 to an early-morning driver's education class.

He also testified about how he searched Spanish Fork for days without sleeping trying to find his 15-year-old daughter. He pointed out that other students told him the last person they saw Kiplyn with the day she disappeared was Chris Jeppson, one of the defendants.

Davis also said Jeppson called him a day or two after Kiplyn vanished and said he, Timmy Olsen and Rucker Leifson had been out looking for her in Spanish Fork Canyon.

The three men have been under suspicion in her disappearance for nearly three years now, and all have been convicted of perjury for lying to a federal grand jury investigating the disappearance.

Kiplyn's body has never been found, but prosecutors are still moving ahead with the murder case.

Defense attorneys are trying to raise doubt about their client's involvement and are trying to look at other theories, such as a kidnapping or runaway situation, as reasons she disappeared.

The case will take two weeks to hear in court before the judge will make a ruli
